OceanDrivers has released yet another R+D+I project; EasyWind, which provides sailing coaches real-time, accurate wind conditions in order to help sailors improve their performance and results. EasyWind obtains wind intensity and direction from an ultrasonic meteorological sensor, and displays it in a user friendly web interface, accesible by portable devices such as mobile phones and tablets via a wireless network.
EasyWind has been developed in partnership with VMG Electronics, and is currently being used by several professional sailing teams, such as Portugal, Brazil, Spain and Israel.
