Oceandrivers establishes a partnership with RAMADDA.org and his main developer Jeff McWhirter.
Oceandrivers will participate in the development of an oceanographic data management solution, using RAMADDA (Repository for Archiving, Managing and Accessing Diverse DAta) as a web-based front-end to manage everything involved in marine data, from the scientific datasets to images and reports. Thanks to RAMADDA, users will have the data discovery, delivery and viewing functionalities over their datasets right out of the box. Oceandrivers will tackle the ingestion of different data sources into this system, processing and standardizing the data and applying the adequate metadata in order to feed the repository and get the most of it.
