WHO WE ARE · The Team

One team. One passion.

OceanDrivers runs on people who love the ocean, the craft of engineering, and doing both properly — pulling in the same direction, project after project.

HOW WE WORK TOGETHER

Every project, one team.

Everyone at OceanDrivers touches every project — technology, delivery and the details that keep things running, side by side from day one.

Clara Torres

Founder & Lead Engineer

Matias Bonet

Engineer by training, sailor by nature. Two decades connecting ocean data to the people who need it — and still can’t stay off the water.

Clara Torres

Project Management

Clara Torres

Keeps every project moving — from the first conversation to the system that’s still running years later.

Clara Torres

Site Reliability Engineer

Anna Doncheva

Keeps the systems we’ve already shipped running smoothly — documentation, onboarding and the day-to-day reliability that makes a launch last.

MEET THE FOUNDER

Matias Bonet

Founder & Lead Engineer

Matias Bonet

Matias started OceanDrivers in 2013 after years spent inside the world’s oceanographic institutes — building the data infrastructure that research stations, ocean observatories and Olympic sailing teams have relied on. He’s still the one writing the code, choosing the stack, and sitting with researchers to figure out what actually needs to be built.

Beyond the code

Matias raced competitively for over two decades — national and European podiums, a world championship title, and the Syney–Hobart offshore race. He’s also an Advanced PADI diver, a licensed yacht captain and a sailing instructor. That’s not a side note — it’s exactly why OceanDrivers exists: technology built by people who actually live on the water.
