PaREx & PDC Analyzer

An automated biotechnology pipeline and web platform that turns whole-genome sequences into resistance profiles for Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

Client: IDISBAType: Custom SolutionStatus: In production

The challenge

Analysing P. aeruginosa resistomes from whole-genome sequences meant slow, manual biotechnology work — designating AmpC variants and detecting resistance to novel antipseudomonal agents required expert time that didn’t scale.

What we built

We provided the technical implementation for PaREx (Pseudomonas aeruginosa Resistome Explorer) and the PDC Analyzer: an open-source, Python-based pipeline that automates the resistome analysis, plus a user-friendly web platform built specifically to designate AmpC variants and detect resistance to novel antipseudomonal agents.

The outcome

Complex biotechnology tools integrated into one streamlined workflow — turning time-consuming manual analysis into an accurate, automated solution for genomic resistance profiling.
